What's your ideal floor? A light airy ultra modern white, a neutral timeless grey, a rich dark antique tone, or something else?
Whatever your preference for finish, or floorboard width, if you’re looking for the best quality hardwood flooring at a reasonable price, we’re confident you’ll find what you want here.
The oak floorboard colours you see below are just a small sample of the 1500 colours we can produce by mixing our proprietary range of ultra low VOC content stains. If necessary we can colour match to your requirements.
We also offer an unfinished option for all widths.
The oak flooring range from Naked Floors is semi-engineered. That means all the aesthetic qualities of solid oak flooring with none of the cupping and crowning issues they're notorious for.
We've engineered our oak flooring to greatly reduce this risk and give you a floor that will remain flat and last for generations: A generous 6mm solid oak top layer, bonded to a stabilised 15mm foundation of ultra-durable birchwood tongue and groove ply.
To design your ideal oak floor just choose from our many width and length options. You can choosed mixed width and random width oak floorboards too.

The main differences between our floors and those widely available through larger suppliers are in length, production methods and scale of production. These factors have a big impact on the end product.
Naked Floors produces every shipment to order. We finish each floorboard by hand in our Sussex Workshop and use a natural air drying method.
This allows us to use natural, mineral based wood oils which have very low volatile organic compound (VOC) content.
No two floorboards that leave our workshop are ever the same.
By contrast, the vast majority of engineered wood flooring sold in the UK is mass produced and shipped from factories in the Far East in cardboard boxes.
In order to maximise box and shipping space, manufacturers of mass-produced floorboards cut their floorboards to uniform length. Mass produced boards tend to be quite short too.
When laid, mass produced floorboards create a very uniform effect, that’s easy to mistake for laminate.
Mass produced boards are finished with oils that contain much higher levels of volatile organic compounds, which are known to have adverse effects on health.
They’re also dried with a rapid UV light curing process, that shortens the lifespan of the floorboard.
If possible, we recommend making an appointment to visit our East-Sussex studio, where we stock a large range of sample boards and full size planks.
These will give you a much better idea of what a complete floor will look like than the samples we send through the post.
You’ll also get a much better sense of the quality of our floorboards.
As we’ve installed hundreds of floors ourselves over the years, we’ll be able to answer any questions you have about your flooring project too.
If that’s not possible, you can order samples directly from the individual product pages.
